The Groceries Regional Buyer for Sulawesi and East Indonesia is responsible for sourcing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, implementing strategies to improve efficiency, negotiating terms with suppliers, overseeing the ordering process, and staying informed about market trends.
Responsibilities
• Sourcing, develop, and maintain relationships with key suppliers all over Sulawesi and East Indonesia.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business objectives.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Oversee the ordering process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues related to delivery or quality.
• Stay informed about market trends, supplier developments, and pricing changes to make decisions.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as groceries buyer or merchandising are preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
