About this position

The Turbomachinery Technical Expert will be responsible for providing technical consulting, sales support, and project management for turbomachinery equipment in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical consulting for all mechanical operating issues of local turbomachinery fleet
• Sales support on regional turbomachinery fleet of any OEM, concerning technical discussion
• Regular participation to customer visits in the region together with respective sales manager
• Development of opportunities of third-party machine business identified by Sales Managers
• Support of field service personnel in case of technical problems
• Implementation of technical analyses including reporting and documentation
• Alignment with Sales, Engineering, Field Service and Workshop

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineer
• Seasoned service experience for turbomachinery equipment with 10+ years of related experience, preferably in field service, engineering or workshop environment
• Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base
• Basic Knowledge of thermodynamic and design details of turbomachinery and their components
• Sales experience in an international environment
• Advance knowledge of project management methods
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and business English
• Will be placed in Surabaya or Jakarta
