Senior Technical Manager for Offshore Company
About this position
The Senior Technical Manager will be responsible for providing consultation to Executive Management on maintenance and technical repairs of the ship's fleet, developing audit program techniques, reviewing engineering expenses, building and supporting the Technical Team, cooperating with customers on inspections, making regular ship visits, and collaborating with other technical staff for vessel maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
• Responsible & Provide consultation to Executive Management on all matters relating to the maintenance and technical repairs of the ship's fleet.
• Develop audit program techniques to ensure that Company Policies are carried out by the team safely and reliably.
• Review and monitor engineering expenses so that repair and maintenance costs can be efficient and effective.
• Build and provide support in the Development of the Technical Team in carrying out their responsibilities.
• Cooperate with customers on inspection of technical and operational.
• Make regular visits to the ship.
• Collaborate with Technical Superintendent & Port Engineer for vessel maintenance & repair, etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Marine Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years sailing experience as chief engineer, preferably AHTS or Hp above 3700 KW.
• Has Experience as Chief Mechanic who regulates maintenance and repair of ships for a minimum of 3 years.
• Experience as the Naval Architecture Manager or Assistant Manager of mechanical engineering 3 years.
• Having a Technical Expert Certificate, preferably a level 1 Technician with a minimum of ATT 2.
