Inventory Management Unit Head (Staff)
About this position
The Inventory Management Unit Head is responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring efficient material management, and optimizing stock levels across various warehouses.
Responsibilities
• Handle cataloging process
• Handle material requirement planning (MRP).
• Consolidate all stock requirement of all warehouses.
• Proceed creating inventory purchase request, optimize the inventory stock level using inventory control formula.
• Identify dead stock and scrapped items, apply the ABC Class/pareto analysis by material group/major items/criticality
Requirements
• Min. bachelor’s degree in engineering and accounting; mechanical, civil, accounting, and industrial are preferred
• Min. 0-4 years experiences in inventory control of mining industry, heavy equipment contractors, facility project / constructions projects, fix plant (conveyor, crusher, production line), general logistics company / freight forwarder
• Experiences in doing the basic material management process (GR, GI, MRP, Stock Take, put away, storing) into ERP system and conduct B2B implementation (e.g.- vendor held stock or consignment)
• Experiences and able to supervise inventory of spare parts, component, workshop consumable, general consumables, mechanical, electrical, construction material, fuel, lubricant, tire, etc.
