R&D Specialist (Food & Beverage)

We are seeking an experienced research & development professional to join our team.
Responsibilities
• Develop new products by conducting lab-scale trials, pilot trials, and applications on production machines
• Prepare panel test and report the result
• Ensure that all necessary tests have been carried out properly, for the development of the product
• Perform process validation and verification of measuring instruments, weighing equipment, and processes including the mixing process, filling, and packing.
• Improve existing products improve existing products, both formulas and processes, alternative raw materials and reduce costs
• Create and propose Procedures or Work Instructions required for Halal Certification and necessary documentation to carry out research and development functions to the OEM Manager
• Create standard documents and data, specifications, reporting, etc. for production preparation
• Organize documents for product registration purposes
• Monitoring and record for incoming sample materials and packaging materials.
Requirements
• Bachelor (S1) in food technology with GPA minimum 3.00
• Understand and Implement ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, 5S, K3, Food Security/GSV & Jaminan Halal, (HAS 23000), FSSC 22000, Food Safety.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in handling FMCG Product
• Have knowledge about the selection of raw materials and processes to extend shelf life, repair, etc.
• Ability to formulate claims and prepare technical briefs.
