The Team Leader Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, liaising with clients, overseeing project design, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a background in structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of structural engineers.
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Oversee the design and drafting of structural engineering projects, focusing on single and double-storey houses.
• Ensure all projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in both verbal and written English communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly with residential projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Australian building codes and regulations is a plus.
