Asst Finance Controller
About this position
The Assistant Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and compliance to support the organization's financial health and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Specialized Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends and key metrics, supporting decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Internal Controls: Implement and enhance internal control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure financial activities comply with regulations and prepare reports for tax filings and audits.
• Cost Control: Analyze cost management and recommend efficiency improvements to optimize profitability.
• System and Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems for improved reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
• Financial Documentation: Maintain documentation for financial transactions to ensure compliance and traceability.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a financial analysis or compliance role.
• Proficient in Excel; strong understanding of accounting, finance, and taxation.
• Experience with finance systems or applications is a plus.
• Possession of Brevet A/B/C certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a finance role within a large corporate or consulting environment is preferred.
