WTP & WWTP Supervisor
About this position
The WTP & WWTP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing water treatment and wastewater management operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of water quality.
Responsibilities
• Solid understanding of water treatment processes, such as filtration, disinfection, and chemical treatment processes, as well as quality control measures to ensure standard result.
• Expert in WWTP processing, controlling and monitoring WWTP operation and ability to troubleshoot if necessary.
• Deep understanding in aerob and anaerob treatment of waste water and improve system if required.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues in the treatment processes to maintain high standards of water quality.
• Knowing how to handle hazardous chemicals and maintain a safe work environment is a priority.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (BSc): Degrees in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering.
• Certified in 'Pengendalian Pencemaran Air' from BNSP is advantage.
• Experience in water treatment or wastewater management 3–5 years supervisory.
• Has a Knowledge of local and international regulation such as government regulation, environmental agencies, and standards like ISO 14001, OHSAS and ISO 22000 or other relevant food safety regulations.
• Experience with OSH or similar workplace safety standards is essential.
