Manufacturing Technical Development Manager
About this position
The Manufacturing Technical Development Manager is responsible for leading the technical development, optimization, and innovation of manufacturing processes to drive improvements in production efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and technology implementation.
Responsibilities
• Leading the technical development, optimization, and innovation of manufacturing processes.
• Driving improvements in production efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and technology implementation.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, R&D, operations, and quality teams.
• Ensuring that manufacturing methods are aligned with company goals and industry standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields) or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, with a proven track record of managing technical projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, etc.) related to manufacturing in relevant sectors.
• Able to Travelling [25% of the time].
