About this position

The Product Development Executive is responsible for developing products that meet consumer needs and align with brand image, while collaborating with various teams and managing supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Developing product that meet with consumer wants and need as per launching schedule.
• Determine market research activities objectives, question to explore consumer insight, and analyze market condition for product idea and concept reference.
• Make product design and concept proposal and develop the product align with Brand Image and product benefits.
• Develop product promotion to support marketing activities (mini size product, promotion/sampling).
• Collaborate with Formula, Packaging, and Marketing team to develop product.
• Negotiate with international & local Packaging Supplier.
• Responsible with cost of goods for new product.
• Give suggestion for sales forecast with reference of history existing product sales performance and market condition (growth and volume).
• Give product knowledge to sales and Beauty Advisor for their reference to sell the product.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Product Design or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience as Product Development at Beauty Industry or Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company.
• Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skill.
• Willing to work fast and hard.
• Speak English fluently (Mandarin is preferable).
