About this position
The Geo Engineering - Foreman, SHE Mining #2 is responsible for organizing, monitoring, controlling, evaluating, and developing safety programs in compliance with GOI regulations and company standards to reduce the accident rate.
Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day safety activities at assigned area, in order to identify the hazard and follow it up by preventive action required that should be taken and the GOI regulations.
• Provide safety and loss prevention information, support and advice to relevant parties, in order to ensure all management system regarding SHE are well conducted and comply with the standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspection/audits of project site and equipment during construction, prior to mechanical acceptance and start-up, and participate in audits of safety program implementation as well.
• Develop and implement inspection and preventive maintenance programs and develop efficient record keeping systems, in order to ensure safety equipment and facilities are maintained in optimum working condition.
• Provide assistance for the emergency simulation implementation and evaluate the result, to ensure the emergency action plan and evacuation plan in areas responsibility are communicated periodically to all employees, in order to obtain their understanding well and obviously.
• Provide assistance for the area management to review the safety program implementation (Company and Division program), to ensure that program implemented appropriate with the GOI (Government of Indonesia) legislation and safety company standard.
• Follow up all corrective actions for all identification occupational/industrial health issues based on sampling program that implemented by Industrial Hygiene group, that cooperate with AEA and area management, to organize and monitor in the performing the physic and occupational health tests for all employees in areas of responsibility.
• Lead or assist in investigations into near misses, property damage, injuries, occupational illness and spills/loss of containment, ensuring that database records of such incidents are maintained.
• Plan, organize, implement and participate in safety meeting for the management and safety officer in their areas of responsibility, to increase and develop the employee to care about safety and health matters.
• Perform and coordinate follow-up action of accident/incident investigations' result and safety audit findings, in order to ensure those are completed in "close the loop" ways and that necessary reports are submitted.
• Keep updated of new technology and developments in safety and loss prevention field, with special emphasis on novel methods or products where feasible for the benefit of the company.

• Find out the most effective and efficient approach for harmonizing client's needs and safety concern.
• To face "the open area" because it raises many problems, not only safety problem. The jobholder should coordinate and cooperate with related parties.
