Social Media Specialist
About this position
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for end-to-end video content creation and monitoring social media KPIs to enhance engagement and growth.
Responsibilities
• Create and schedule posts following the content calendar.
• Manage audience interactions by responding to comments, messages, and resolving issues.
• Manage and oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistency and high-quality content.
• Engage with key followers, fostering community growth and partnerships.
• Create engaging video content, including scripting, shooting and editing.
• Analyze weekly social media performance (reach, engagement, growth) and adjust the content calendar as needed.
• Lead weekly content ideation sessions, proposing creative content based on audience preferences and trends.
• Contribute to the creation of a monthly performance report, tracking KPIs, and engagement metrics.
• Review and refine the content calendar for the upcoming months, focusing on high-impact content.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in social media.
• In-depth understanding of the company’s primary products and services.
• In-depth understanding of platform-specific content styles (video for Tiktok vs posts for Instagram).
• Knowledge of social media KPIs and how they impact engagement and growth.
• Content creation skills, including basic graphic design and video editing.
• Solid understanding of social media algorithms and how they affect content performance.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in social media.
