Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend systems
• Design and optimize database schemas
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with technical writers to create user and developer documentation
• Operate your team's software systems in a consistently high quality manner

Requirements

• Experience as a Backend Engineer
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong skills in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and database schemas
• Experience in writing unit tests and participating in code reviews
• Familiarity with architectural patterns, code design, and infrastructure options
• Commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and maintainable systems
