As a Project Engineer with Givaudan, you will play a critical role to support Project Manager in the successful execution of a greenfield construction project from start through to commissioning and handover.
• Assist in maintaining project plan, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with design teams to review and validate engineering designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards, communication control, and timelines.
• Oversee quality control of deliverables, demonstrating technical excellence, objectivity and clarity, adherence to project schedules, applicable quality management standards, safety and security regulations.
• Oversee execution of the project plan(s) within approved budget, scope and timeline.
• Oversee the implementation of agreed procedures for method of supervision, document/letter form, procedure for approval, drawing submission and approval flow, and so on.
• Act as a liaison between the project manager, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify potential risk and resolve / develop mitigation engineering issues as they arise during the construction phase.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, change orders, and correspondence.
• Review technical reports submitted by EPCm and Contractors that summarize results from tests and feasibility assessments, recommended improvement opportunities, calculated associated savings, and estimated incentives.
• Assist in the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet the specified requirements.
• Strong engineering background with relevant experience in project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality management practices.
