Senior Staff Visual Merchandiser
About this position
The Senior Staff Visual Merchandiser is responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising concepts that enhance the aesthetic appeal of retail spaces and drive sales, while ensuring alignment with the brand's identity.
Responsibilities
• Develop visual merchandising concepts for all stores, including POP displays, product layout for sandals, and promotional areas, to enhance visual appeal and drive sales.
• Manage store interior and exterior design, ensuring alignment with the brand’s standards and visual identity.
• Create product placement strategies to optimize space and capture consumer attention, focusing on product storytelling through visual displays.
• Collaborate with the marketing and store operations teams to implement promotional programs and visual campaigns across all outlets.
• Ensure store compliance with the company’s visual merchandising guidelines and conduct regular reviews and adjustments as needed.
• Analyze the effectiveness of store displays through sales data and customer behavior insights to optimize layout and visual strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on visual merchandising performance and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of visual elements, including posters, signage, and custom POP displays for sandal products.
• Evaluate and update VM concepts based on industry trends, customer feedback, and sales target achievements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Store Design, preferably in retail or footwear industries.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising trends and the ability to apply aesthetic concepts in a retail environment.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D software like SketchUp or other relevant programs.
• Ability to plan store layouts and design elements in accordance with VM principles, both for physical and digital stores.
• Creative and innovative, with the ability to introduce fresh ideas that align with the brand identity.
• Managerial skills to coordinate VM teams and external vendors involved in store design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with multiple teams to achieve company goals.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to different store locations as required.
