About this position

The Intermodal Manager is responsible for coaching and managing the Intermodal team, ensuring performance and profitability across various transportation modes in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Coach and Manage Intermodal team within Agency and GBS
• Responsible for Intermodal performance and HO Intermodal KPI
• Develop Intermodal coverage and profitability, under Barge/3PF/Train/truck (include main port & out port area in Indonesia)
• Create promotional support/materials (product catalog)
• Bring support to sales team to sell Intermodal products/services, from Main port & Outport area
• Identify new business opportunities (traffic and/or rail services available on the market) and share to commercial teams / RO intermodal / HO intermodal
• Determine and prepare selling tariff based on Procurement cost & tariff guidelines shared by HO & RO
• Drive business development of the intermodal activity together with agency network (POL/POD) & trades
• Assist H/O Define inland service commercial and procurement global strategy
• Assist H/O Elaborate reporting, tools & processes
• Drive business development of the intermodal activity together with Lines, Global Accounts & agency network (POL & POD) under CMA CGM Indonesia Agency
• Monitor commercial performance of the intermodal activity under CMA CGM Indonesia Agency
• Supervise regional inland operations & commercial network (Train/Barge/Truck/3PF)
• Analyze intermodal regional costs & margin (Train/Barge/Truck/3PF)
• Comply with Principals instruction and company policy
• Analyze process related to intermodal & inland commercial activity. Contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree / University graduated in Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement
• English fluency
• Good in reporting, analysis
• Good presentation
• Has a broaden customer network coverage
• Awareness of worldwide economy and freight market
• Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry
• Good interpersonal communication
• Assertive factful, and innovative
• Highly motivated, result oriented individual
