Public Relation Supervisor
About this position
The Public Relation Supervisor is responsible for managing media relations, preparing summaries, and performing administrative tasks while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Monitor media coverage and prepare daily summaries on relevant topics.
• Liaise with organizers, media, and other relevant parties.
• Translate documents and draft reports.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as procurement and filing.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications, or event management.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Experience in managing social media accounts for sizable organizations is preferred (including creating content, writing captions, and responding to inquiry messages).
• Basic skills in photography, video editing, and design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and social media management tools.
• Basic skills in photography, video editing, and design are an advantage.
