About this position

The Strategic & Analytics Department Head is responsible for identifying and analyzing customer needs to develop effective segmentation strategies and assist in the Strategic Transformation Project for the bank.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze customer needs based on internal and external data to develop effective segmentation strategies and provide appropriate financial product recommendations.
• Assist in the Strategic Transformation Project for the bank.
• Develop data-driven customer segmentation strategies that align with the company's products, services, and overall business objectives.
• Leverage internal and external data, client insights, competitor analysis, and market trends to identify and validate business opportunities within each customer segment.
• Design and execute detailed strategic plans, outlining actionable steps to achieve segmentation goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Channels, Market Research & Customer Experience, Brand Management & Communication, etc.) to develop targeted experiences and go-to-market strategies for each segment.
• Oversee the end-to-end planning and implementation process, ensuring optimal results and maintaining high levels of efficiency.
• Manage strategic initiatives (cross-vertical and new initiatives) from upstream to downstream, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Formulate strategies to analyze complex business problems, develop hypotheses, conduct research, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Assess and make recommendations on cross-functional opportunities, identifying potential synergies and areas for collaboration to maximize business impact.
• Measure post-launch performance of segmentation strategies, analyzing key metrics to assess their effectiveness in increasing sales, customer loyalty, and other relevant KPIs.
• Identify areas for improvement and continuously refine segmentation approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading management consulting firms, private equity, business intelligence, or proposition development.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization software (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, market sizing, business projection, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to manage projects autonomously with a clear sense of accountability, efficiency, and a high level of attention to detail in a dynamic workplace.
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation concepts, marketing strategies, and company products and services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey analysis results to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
• Fluency in English.
• CFA, FMVA, or PMP certification (preferred).
• Deep understanding of affluent client needs (preferred).
• Experience in the banking industry, particularly in the priority or private banking segment (preferred).
