About this position

PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk is seeking a Database Administrator Manager to design, implement, and manage secure database systems while ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available and secure database systems based on end-user requirements
• Oversee data distribution to users while ensuring optimal database performance and minimal downtime
• Develop and maintain backup solutions in accordance with the Bank’s requirements
• Establish and document database policies, procedures, and security standards to ensure data privacy and integrity
• Monitor and optimize database performance, implement necessary adjustments, and apply updates or patches to maintain system efficiency
• Collaborate with the IT Operations team to support business partner units and ensure smooth database operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Database Administration with specific database technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) in the Banking or Financial Services Industry
• Strong technical skills and expertise in managing database software
• Strong knowledge of database replication, backup, and restore processes
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Fluent in English.
