Risk Data Analyst
About this position
Responsibilities
• Collect, process, clean, validate, and prepare data from various sources such as core banking systems, credit bureaus, and customer transaction data to ensure data quality and accuracy and support risk analysis, lending performance, and the development of a reliable data infrastructure
• Analyze credit portfolio performance using several indicators to identify patterns and trends, and assist in the development and validation of analytical models such as credit scoring or segmentation models through simple statistical calculations such as correlation and regression
• Prepare credit risk reports that include analysis and create data visualizations in the form of tables or graphs using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet, Looker, and Data Studio to support the presentation of analysis results, as well as prepare regular periodic reports
• Support the team in forecasting, identifying patterns/potential risks, and assisting in the implementation of A/B testing to evaluate new lending policies or strategies related to their impact on credit performance
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to develop datamarts and infrastructure.
• Understand data governance regulations in sharing data with the ecosystem
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics
• At least 3 years of experience in data management
• Have knowledge of the principles and practices of risk management
• Have extensive knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, Metabase PowerBI or similar tools
• Understand how to communicate complex information effectively
