About this position
The Officer, Corporate Action Officer, Securities and Fiduciary Services is responsible for managing corporate action activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, processing mandatory and voluntary events, handling funds related to corporate actions, and maintaining proper documentation. This role also involves tax processing, security master creation, participating in system tests, and building relationships with internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the correctness and completeness of the corporate action activities in accordance with SOP (Standard Operations Procedure), Bank Procedures, Group Guidelines ie. CSA etc and Regulatory Guidelines.
• Process and monitor all mandatory CA event such as AGM/EGM, interest, redemption, amortization, cash/stock dividend, bonus, stock split/reverse stock split etc from announcement up to disbursement.
• Process and monitor for all voluntary CA event such as rights issue, warrants, tender offer, dividend with option etc from announcement up to disbursement.
• Process all incoming and outgoing funds related to Corporate Action and ensure reported properly and on timely manner.
• Ensure documents have been filed systematically and original documents are only accessible to authorized staff members.
• Tax processing related to the implementation of the double tax treaty agreement to non-resident income distribution.
• Security master creation process at NCS system.
• Participate in BCP and system development test.
• Building good relationships with internal parties i.e. Treasury, PPU/Payment, BU and external parties i.e. KSEI, IDX, Issuers, BAE, etc.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ recognized banking experience in Operations, preferably in custody operations.
• Having knowledge regarding Custody Operations.
• Having knowledge on Capital Market and Banking Regulation.
• Having knowledge on Custody/Back Office Applications.
