About this position

The Supervisor Electrical - MEP Construction position requires a highly skilled individual with experience in electrical work, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. The role involves overseeing and managing all electrical work on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical work on construction sites.
• Manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings with the project team.
• Ensure that all work is done safely and in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Plan and schedule electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Order materials and supplies as needed.
• Manage and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work.
• Lead the investigation of electrical faults and implement corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical work, preferably in the construction industry, MEP projects would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of electricians.
