About this position

A Service Manager is a critical role within an organization, especially in industries that provide services to clients or customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively according to established standards and quality levels.
• Monitor service performance for trouble shooting and daily maintenance for heavy equipment such as Excavator, Wheel loader, Telehandler, Forklift etc. and identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance service quality.
• Supervise and manage a team of service professionals or technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to meet service objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
• Participate in the design and development of new services or improvements to existing services based on market trends.
• Develop and manage the budget for service operations, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support service delivery and meet financial targets.
• Continuously review and optimize service delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall service performance.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on service performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineer, or related.
• A deep understanding of the specific industry, its trends, and the services offered by the organization is crucial.
• Experience for heavy equipment such as Excavator, Wheel loader, Telehandler, Forklift etc.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively interact with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, make strategic decisions, and effectively manage resources to achieve organizational goals.
• Capable of analyzing complex issues, making informed decisions, and implementing solutions to address challenges in service delivery.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changing environments, priorities, and technologies in the dynamic field of service management.
