SAP ABAP Developer
About this position
The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom reports, forms, and interfaces in SAP using ABAP, while ensuring smooth integration with other systems and modules.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy custom reports, forms, and interfaces in SAP using ABAP.
• Implement enhancements using user exits, BAdls (Business Add-Ins), and enhancement spots to extend standard SAP functionalities.
• Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance, including SQL queries and internal table processing.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces), RFCs (Remote Function Calls), and Web Services.
• Ensure smooth data exchange and integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
• Analyze error logs and work with functional consultants to resolve issues related to custom developments and integrations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for custom developments, enhancements, and modifications.
• Participate in system testing and support UAT as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing custom developments, including troubleshooting and implementing updates or fixes.

Requirements
• Minimum 6-10 years' experience in SAP project implementation (7 full cycle project).
• SAP ABAP: Knowledge of new features and capabilities in SAP S/4HANA that impact ABAP development, such as CDS (Core Data Services) views, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA-specific optimizations.
• Understanding of integration technologies and techniques, including IDocs, BAPIs.
• Ensure smooth data exchange and integration with other SAP modules and RFCs, and Web Services.
• Experience in supporting data migration activities and ensuring compatibility with SAP S/4HANA.
• Participate in system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
