Database Administrator
About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage database changes and re-designs
• Provide support to resolve customer complaint
• Analyze root cause, and resolution for any problem assigned
• Review resolution for incident and problem to ensure the resolution are appropriate, comprehensive, and feasible
• Drive automation of code
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
• Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to customer requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
• Deep understanding of MS SQL Server including Advance Querying, Database Mirroring, AlwaysOn (AAG), Log Shipping, Replication etc.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in maintaining & troubleshooting User Management, Performance Issue, Indexing, SQL Agent, Linked Server, and Backup/Restore activity.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Familiarity with programming languages API
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
