About this position
The Executive Chef Bakery & Pastry is responsible for overseeing the pastry and bakery operations, including menu creation, inventory management, and staff guidance.
Responsibilities
• Create new menu and seasonal food concept changes
• Manage inventory of ingredients, equipment and supplies while minimizing waste and controlling costs
• Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
• Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
• Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
Requirements
• Minimum education: Associate degree in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience as head of pastry or bakery
• Proficient in MS Office
• Organizing and leadership skills
• Creative and innovative thinking
• High initiative and strong communication skills
• Having knowledge about food safety and hygiene
