About this position

The Senior Engineer - New Model is responsible for project planning, supplier assessment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new project launches and improvements in operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create project planning, control and respond to customer's requirements of each trial stage.
• Review and assess supplier manufacturing process by visiting vendor facilities, provide technical advice to supplier while new project preparation.
• Correspond with CFT and PSJ for new project launching, product design without delay based on master plan.
• Improvement in teamwork and promote consultation and collaboration with team.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities for new project preparation to improve operator efficiency, productivity and cost reduction.
• Provide technical support to the team through the specification, requirement.
• Organizing and chairing monthly project team meeting, distribution of meeting minutes and ensuring actions are carried out.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
• Certificate: APQP, PPAP, IATF16949, SolidWorks.
• Skill/Professional: Team management, Customer specifications, Supplier control, Performance evaluations and jig design.
