Video Editor and Videographer
About this position
The Video Editor and Videographer will be responsible for collaborating with team members to produce high-quality videos, brainstorming innovative video concepts, and contributing to a positive company culture.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to understand and meet video production needs.
• Editing and producing high-quality videos according to deadlines or ahead of schedule, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Operating DSLR cameras and other video equipment to capture high-quality video footage for various projects.
• Publishing and uploading videos to various organizational channels, ensuring timely distribution and optimal performance.
• Participating in team brainstorming sessions to develop innovative video concepts and ideas.
• Proactively developing new video programs based on design sequences, presenting work, and identifying production methods and equipment required in the production process.
• Suggesting new approaches to improve production efficiency and effectiveness, including stories, scripts, structures, formats, and production techniques.
• Contributing to the creation of a positive and supportive company culture through active participation and collaboration.
Requirements
• Has a strong understanding of storytelling and shot sequencing to create compelling and engaging videos.
• Is proficient in video shooting techniques, camera operation, and basic equipment usage (experience in shooting is a plus).
• Is creative and innovative, with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to video production.
• Understands both long-form and short-form video platforms and can create content suited for each.
• Has expert proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Possesses basic proficiency in graphic design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
