About this position

This Position is in the Procurement Category team who are responsible for development of new parts and suppliers for existing / upcoming models of Triumph Motorcycles. As a team member of this team, his / her role would be research new suppliers, RFQ management, support compiling data for Make / Buy decisions, initial order management, monitor development of new parts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Involve with suppliers / internal team in the Pre-RFQ phase & Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Obtain & consolidate the supplier quotations, negotiate all commercial topics directly with supplier and get involved in the supplier selection process.
• Lead negotiation and manage for Design Change Requests.
• New order placement, Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) follow up and Capacity Verification with suppliers.
• Ensure control of costs, respect for delivery deadlines, respect of quality requirements, and the implementation of corrective actions to achieve Project Key Date.
• Monitor and improve performance for supplier perimeter through cross-functional team in the factories.
• Price adjustment in any economic impact.
• Create regular statistical reports and analysis then update to his/her Superior.
• Any additional task assigned by his/her Superior.
• Report promptly to Superior any concerns that may affect Triumph.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical engineering or related fields.
• At least 5 years experienced in Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier development, Production Process Engineer, Quality engineer in Automotive or Automotive supplier industry.
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawing, 3D CAD, technical of automotive part.
• Understanding manufacturing processes.
• Analytical Skills.
• Good Commercial awareness, acumen & negotiation skills.
• Excellence English communication and effective organizational skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate sound work ethics.
• Be flexible for worldwide overseas travel and overtime as required from time to time.
