Mechanical & Utilities Engineer
About this position
The Mechanical & Utilities Engineer is responsible for coordinating and controlling a team to ensure the effective repair and maintenance of production machinery, while also focusing on energy saving programs and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Responsible to coordinate and control group of subordinates to repair of production machinery
• Responsible to break down activities troubleshooting and decision making on the actual problem
• Creating why why analysis on the major or repeat brake down and get it approved by the HOD and after approval ensure the implementation of the counter measures and action plan.
• Creating work instruction and training to the team work and sign the logbook and check list on daily basis in order to make sure the compliance of the system.
• ETP operate and maintain all equipment in good condition and reliable
• Ensure proper spare management and optimize the inventory and stock out situation of the critical spare parts.
• Responsible for energy saving program & system improvement.
• 5S/TPM Activity implementation as per the schedule.
• Ensure safe work practice at work place including the jobs being done by the subcontract person in order to achieve zero manpower loss and zero machine damages.
• Compliance of IMS systems including the periodic audit and closer of NCR.
• Responsibility to follow the Food safety practices as per IMS system
Requirements
• B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical
• Minimum 3 years experience in utility & Facility operation in a large or similar manufacturing
• Able to organized the team player and coordinate
• Able to communicate in English
• High responsibility, self driven, good team player, can work well under pressure
