About this position

The Electrical Instrument Engineer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems and drives, ensuring machine availability, and implementing improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and drives.
• Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to ensure 100% machine availability.
• Plan and execute shutdown maintenance activities efficiently.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and minimize downtime to bring machines back online as quickly as possible.
• Analyze failure incidents and develop improvement plans to prevent future issues.
• Plan and implement improvement activities to enhance machine performance.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to reduce machine downtime and ensure continuous operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Instrument Engineer or in a similar role within industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Siemens S7 and PCS7, VFD, instrument as well as Siemens drives.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and system optimization.
• Ability to plan and execute maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
