Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across all solar energy projects.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures for ongoing and new projects.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor workplace health risks and promote health and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and regulations.
• Organize health and safety training for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance, including energy use, waste management, and carbon emissions.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure minimal environmental impact from operations.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international SHE laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit SHE compliance reports to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all safety, health, and environmental activities.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
• Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices to enhance SHE performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE considerations into business operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SHE roles, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of SHE laws, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using SHE management tools and software.
