Welcome to Playfield The idea of Playfield was started off in 2015 and we started our operation on May 2016. Along the way, we have added new facilities and expanded our center. As of today, we have Playfield Kid’s Academy, Playfield Preschool, Playfield Primary School, and a Satellite School. We have expanded our branches in Scientia Square Park and Emporium Pluit Mall.

About this position

The Preschool Main Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining professional relationships with parents, assessing children's development, and conducting parent-teacher meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans, inclusion of theme-related materials, and rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis.
• Provide a safe, responsive, stimulating environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines.
• Form and maintain professional relationships with parents and families.
• Assess all areas of development of children using the Eclectic Curriculum.
• Develop a progress report for each child. Conduct two parent-teacher meetings per year with each family.
• Responsible for supervision and direction of Assistant Teacher

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any major, preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in preschool/kindergarten/ childcare setting
• Good command in English, Mandarin orally and written
