Senior Graphic Designer (Product Design)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the design and development of product graphics, packaging, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize new designs that enhance the user experience and align with market trends.
• Create sketches, mockups, and prototypes for internal review and feedback.
• Develop detailed design specifications and guidelines for product manufacturing and marketing materials.
• Ensure consistency across all product designs and branding elements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new product ideas and marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with the marketing team to design assets for product launches, promotional campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design technologies, and competitive products to ensure designs remain fresh and innovative.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior designers within the team to foster growth and innovation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on product design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product graphics, packaging design, and branding.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, or Sketch.
• Knowledge of 3D design tools such as Blender or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-designers.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in e-commerce or consumer product industries.
• Familiarity with digital design trends and user experience principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and strategically.
