Responsibilities

• Research and identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing agricultural products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales, and operations) to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative solutions.
• Prototype and test new products to ensure feasibility, effectiveness, and market readiness.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product development strategies.
• Engage with farmers, agricultural experts, and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
• Develop products that align with sustainable farming practices, emphasizing environmental conservation, resource efficiency, and renewable solutions.
• Oversee product development timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry certifications.
• Promote a culture of innovation within the organization by identifying emerging technologies and advocating for their application in agriculture.
• Present ideas and prototypes to stakeholders, securing buy-in and support for new initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-3+ years) in product development or innovation within the agricultural industry.
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop production, and farming technologies.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems.
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and their application in agriculture.
• Proficiency in market research tools, data analysis, and product development methodologies.
