Nutrition and Health Innovation Researcher
About this position
Responsibilities
• Apply nutritional science expertise in the development of innovative food and beverage products.
• Conduct applied and fundamental research focused on product development for various food-related applications.
• Lead research projects that align with the company’s sustainability goals and strategies.
• Proactively track and analyze industry news, reports, and research related to food production and nutrition innovation.
• Utilize basic knowledge of clinical studies to support product development initiatives.
• Answering customer inquiries related to nutrition, health conditions, and medication in a clear, informed manner, while ensuring information accuracy and adherence to medical guidelines.
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality agreements (NDAs) and company policies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting as a clinical nutrition specialist or similar role, specifically providing nutrition consulting to physicians regarding dietary recommendations and medication-related nutrition considerations.
• Certification as a Certified Dietetic Technician (CDT) or Registered Dietitian (RD) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset.
• Proficient in office software, including MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets, Docs, and relevant research tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and adjust to flexible working hours.
