About this position

The International Business Manager is responsible for expanding the company’s presence in global markets, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the seamless execution of international operations. This role involves market research, building client relationships, managing cross-border operations, and achieving revenue and business growth targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate new international markets and business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for market entry and growth in targeted regions.
• Monitor global market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Build and maintain relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and partnerships.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and events to promote brand awareness and forge new relationships.
• Oversee cross-border operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations in foreign markets.
• Monitor performance metrics for international business activities and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Prepare and manage budgets for international operations and projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost-saving and revenue growth.
• Forecast and achieve sales and profitability targets for international markets.
• Ensure adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations, and local legal requirements.
• Collaborate with legal teams to manage risks and resolve disputes.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals involved in international operations.
• Collaborate with regional managers and internal departments to align international efforts with company objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in international business development, sales, or market expansion.
• Proven track record in managing cross-border operations and achieving revenue targets.
• Experience working with diverse cultures and managing international teams is a plus.
• Strong understanding of global markets, cultural differences, and international trade dynamics.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to negotiate, build, and manage strategic partnerships and contracts.
• Expertise in global market research, strategy development, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across cultures.
• Leadership capabilities to inspire, motivate.
