About this position
Responsibilities
• Contracts & Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to support business operations and decision-making.
• Regulatory Research: Stay updated on laws, rules, and regulations to offer accurate legal insights.
• Compliance Leadership:
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct engaging compliance training sessions for teams like Sales & Marketing.
• Create compliance plans and collaborate with internal audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of legislative updates and regulatory changes to protect and guide the business.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with senior management and key stakeholders to drive legal strategies.
Requirements
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
• Experience: 5–10 years in legal and compliance roles; FMCG experience is a big plus!
• Communication Pro: Exceptional English skills, both written and spoken.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to collaborate across functions and inspire teams.
• Detail-Oriented: A proactive approach to navigating complex legal and compliance landscapes.
