About this position

The R&D Supervisor will lead and oversee research and development projects to create innovative products, improve existing offerings, and enhance processes. This role is critical in ensuring alignment with market demands, sustainability goals, and organizational objectives. The R&D Supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of new products.
• Enhance existing products based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor R&D team members.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Plan and manage R&D projects from concept to completion.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
• Analyze data to validate product performance and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on new technologies and advancements relevant to the industry.
• Work closely with production, marketing, and quality assurance teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners for material sourcing and testing.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise and product information.
• Maintain accurate records of research findings, prototypes, and test results.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
• Ensure proper documentation for patents and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years in R&D or a related role.
• Proven experience in product development and team management.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software, data analysis tools, and industry-specific applications.
