About this position

Our furniture manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant R&D Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and possess a strong passion for product development, quality improvement, and innovation to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing new furniture products to align with market demands.
• Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and quality control.
• Manage R&D projects from initiation to completion within set timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, marketing, and sales.
• Stay updated on furniture industry trends and analyze consumer needs.
• Incorporate customer feedback into product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and product performance.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and product data.
• Communicate effectively in English with local and international stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training to team members in the R&D department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Product Design, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D or product development, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of furniture design, materials, and production processes.
• Ability to use design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Team player with the ability to perform under pressure.
