About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with all levels of government officials.
• Coordinate with various departments and colleagues and provide input to various local, national, and international officials.
• Provide operational support to all legislative processes & perform research and analyze policies and regulations and assess their impact on Philips.
• Perform research on various legal issues and document all research to edit all government affair communications and participate in legislative committee meetings.
• Participate in various trade associations and evaluate all countries’ legislative regulations in required state.
• Develop advocacy strategies for policies, regulations, and programs that support Philips positions.
• Maintain relevant government and stakeholder relations that support lead creation and conversion for Philips.
• Maintain government and stakeholder relations that protect Philips assets, enable us to manage issues swiftly, and ensure market access and a level playing field for Philips in all relevant markets.
• Complement the implementation of the Philips strategies in all markets through thought leadership and advocacy.
• Develop or support B2G opportunities in the area of Digital Health by co-relating Philips solutions with government’s initiative.
• Knowledge or experience in Digital Health is a plus.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in public affairs, government relations and public policy.
• A keen sense of business acumen, and the ability to connect key business issues and competitive/profit drivers to public policy matters and obtain value for/advance the business interests and reputation of Philips, as well as to protect against potential threats.
• Thrives on challenge and fast paced environment.
• Outstanding communications skills, strong interpersonal skills with highest integrity.
