About this position

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for Indonesia to provide legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, and privileges of the organization in the market.

Responsibilities

• Legal lead for Indonesia market
• Manage legal external counsel budget
• Privacy Officer
• Lead local litigation matters, partnering with HQ Litigation and external counsel
• Advise on and draft/review/negotiate complex and high-value agreements, protecting Pfizer’s interests
• Lead legal negotiations with Governments for the procurement of medicines and vaccines
• Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns
• Protect Pfizer’s interests in relation to claims, disputes
• Proactively identify, educate and inform internal clients about legal issues and changes to the legal environment in order to pre-empt risks and allow Pfizer to gain the maximum benefit from legal advice
• Team development: develop Paralegal to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform effectively and feel motivated. Guide colleagues on team processes and provide presentations, advice, and guidance.
• Team management: lead, supervise, and manage the performance and development of Paralegal including goal setting, co-ordination, and consistency of legal advice, support, and reporting across all business areas
• Actively participate in international committees: - Share best practices across the legal division - Lead legal in the market projects from conception to implementation.
• External engagement: manage relationships with Pfizer law firms and represent Pfizer on external forums
