Access Manager
About this position
The Access Manager is an experienced member of the Indonesia Market Access Team with a deep knowledge of the existing and evolving reimbursement system, excellent understanding of regulations surrounding Universal Healthcare Coverage (JKN), knowledge of Health Economics, experience in project management and ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The role is responsible to maintain and expand access within Government and Private sectors. This is done through developing and advancing long-term relationships with key stakeholders, communicating the value of Pfizer’s portfolio, and meeting the need and interest of evolving payor.
• Develop and implement a clear and well thought out Market Access Plan.
• Drive localization of global Health Economics model and develop pricing business case for products to be submitted for reimbursement.
• Develop dossier for National Formulary submission.
• Manage tender and reimbursement of new and existing products within JKN and other Institutions (i.e Mandiri InHealth).
• Explore access opportunities for innovative products with non-traditional payers (i.e private insurance and employers).
• Collaborate with Policy & Public Affairs Team to expand vaccination opportunities within Hajj & Umrah.
• Represent Pfizer with senior external stakeholders to establish relationships and partnerships, deepen customer engagement and broaden Pfizer’s engagement and impact along the continuum of care.
• Work internally to influence and achieve strong alignment with cross functional teams so that access opportunities are adequately resourced.
• Collaborate with the Market Access Lead, BU Leads, other cross-functional colleagues to develop and share a deep understanding of the evolving access landscape and opportunities for value-based healthcare initiatives.
Requirements
• Qualifications in pharmacy, business, or other relevant degree
• Experience in market access will be preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience within pharmaceutical, medical devices or affiliated industry
• Knowledge and understanding of Health Economics
• Skilled project manager
• Strategic thinker and highly customer focused
• Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills and the ability to identify and generate new opportunities.
