Data Analytics Team Lead
About this position
We are seeking an experienced ‘Data Analytics Team Lead’, be part of marketing team to drive our data-driven initiatives and drive strategic insights to optimize on business impact decision-making across key business functions.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy integrated on data platform to improve marketing campaign, CRM programs, customer retention, and operational efficiency
• Design and develop analytical models to manage actionable insights related to customer behavior, product performance, and market trends
• Lead team to analyze in-house data, market trends, competitor records & streamline data collection to prepare reports and mentor a team of data analysts for further continuous improvement of team performance
• Conduct in-depth analysis using statistical methods to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and promotional campaigns
• Manage seamless integration of data from multiple sources and work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to provide analytical support for strategic decision-making and leveraging insights from the integrated data platform
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer segmentation, personalized marketing efforts, and overall customer satisfaction through data-driven recommendations
• Convey insights through dashboard, reports and visual presentations to management and key stakeholders, which can influence decision-making processes
• Interpret and present complex analytical findings in a compelling manner and share recommendations for further business decisions and strategy to management and key stakeholders
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence within FMCG and retail industry are preferred and/or career background in market research firm is a plus.
• Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Power BI, Excel, SPSS, SAS)
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team of analysts in a dynamic environment
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving business value
