Marketing Communications Executive
About this position
Responsibilities
• To assist in the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue generating departments.
• To ensure the Marketing Communications activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
• To assist in the preparation and update of the Departmental Operations Manuals.
• To attend regular departmental marketing communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
• To assist with all paperwork related to Marketing department.
• To assist to ensure that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• To assist with all tracking sheets related to Marketing (Media stays, media food reviews, photo shoot schedules).
• To assist in planning and executing a full photoshoot (food & beverage & hotel venues).
• To assist with social Media content calendar monthly post/ad reviews (Xiaohongshu, Instagram, Facebook, Dianping).
• To assist with creating and sending out hotel press releases (food & beverage & hotel activations).
• To assist to organize the hotel photo library and keep track of all photo shoot assets accumulated.
• To ensure to provide excellent service to external customers, as well as internal customers in other departments.
• To assist in the preparation, utilisation and update of an Annual Marketing Plan, broken down as necessary by division and/or department.
• To measure, interpret, prioritise and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communications activities through an ROI analysis and adjust as necessary.
• To monitor all current attitudes and public statements concerning the hotel in foreign and local media.
• To ensure adequate targeted publicity and coverage of the hotel’s positioning, promotional programmes, corporate image building and other activities.
• To recommend and develop proposals and direct and implement below the line sales promotions, with external partners such as credit card companies, banks, department stores, airlines, etc. to support the advertising and sales campaigns.
• To closely work together with other departments to assess and support their internal and external communications needs.
• To establish and maintain the hotel library and photographic image filing.
• To continuously update press kits.
Requirements
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and content creation is a plus.
