About this position

The Associate Project Manager (Contract Based) is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that all objectives and deliverables are met. This role involves managing timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring all project objectives and deliverables are met using project management software
• Timeline and Budget Management: Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
• Resource Allocation: Support the allocation and management of project resources to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining a risk log and developing contingency plans using risk management software.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders through digital communication tools to provide updates and gather feedback.

Requirements

• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in project involvement, demonstrating active participation and contribution to project outcomes.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in project management software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
