Product Development Supervisor
About this position
The Product Development Supervisor is responsible for sourcing and coordinating packaging solutions, managing the product cycle, and ensuring effective communication and documentation across departments.
Responsibilities
• Source and develop new packaging solutions to ensure quality and timely delivery for finished product production.
• Request and review technical specifications from suppliers, and coordinate with the Packaging Technologist/QC team to define packaging specifications and requirement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support company goals and ensure competitive advantage.
• Participate in cost negotiations and drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Research and identify new packaging innovations, technologies, and market trends.
• Create, develop, and manage the entire product cycle from beginning to end, ensuring adherence to timelines and project milestones.
• Ensure timely delivery of packaging and finished goods by coordinating with internal departments (RD, Design, Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, Planning, Quality) and third-party partners.
• Track and manage project timelines, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and address any delays.
• Create and update Bill of Material (BOM), Finish Product Specifications (Product Profile) and ensure all departments (RD, Production, Planner, Quality) are informed of any changes.
• Register and maintain documents according to established systems for effective record-keeping.
• Ensure all relevant departments are kept informed of new processes and changes.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of business experience in the field of marketing, product management or sales. Experience in Project management, leading cross function teams, and using a product development process preferred.
• Strong detail orientation with the ability to work with overseas vendors is a must.
• Practical and full understanding of manufacturing and filling of cosmetics, toiletries, fragrance and bath and body products.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, planning and organization skills.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai.
• Ability to be highly organized with attention to detail.
