• Leadership & Team Management: Manage and mentor the talent acquisition team, providing clear direction, setting objectives, and offering ongoing support and coaching.
• Team Development & Transformation: Lead the transformation of the talent acquisition function by driving initiatives that improve processes, efficiency, and team performance. Motivate and guide the team through periods of change, ensuring a smooth transition and sustained high performance.
• Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals, especially during periods of change or transformation.
• Driving Transformation: Lead and support the transformation of the talent acquisition function, utilizing data, technology, and industry best practices to enhance recruitment processes and outcomes. Introduce innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Talent Sourcing & Pool Development: Ensure the talent acquisition team proactively builds and maintains a strong talent pipeline to support both immediate and long-term business needs. Prepare for business changes and crisis by developing strategic talent pools.
• Network Building: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners (e.g., recruitment agencies, industry professionals) to ensure a continuous flow of high-quality candidates and insights into the job market.
• Performance Management: Support team performance by setting clear objectives, tracking KPIs, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to achieve high levels of success.
• Senior Level Hiring: Take ownership for the recruitment of senior & critical roles.
Requirements
• Experienced Leader: Minimum 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a proven track record preferably across both in-house and executive search/agency environments, along with significant management experience. You have a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to understand business goals and partner with senior leadership to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
• Market Savvy: Deep understanding of the recruitment marketplace, including the ability to forecast labor trends and implement.
