Lead QA Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on leadership for managing Quality Assurance team, mentoring QA team members on quality assurance best practices, methodologies and frameworks to help them develop their skills and careers.
• Removing roadblocks and recognizing the power of autonomy and ownership of each individual contributor in their teams.
• Champion quality practices within a team or within the organization.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to define testing objectives and deliverables.
• Developing and overseeing testing procedures, test plans, and scripts.
• Identifying and documenting defects and working with the development team for resolution.
• Lead the team to not only assist with testing, but also investigate complicated production issues, and work on the product directly.
• Manage Hybrid team with a mix of in-house and outsource ensuring the deliverable result is in high quality standard and strictly well follow security policy.
• Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
• Lead test team in validating thorough testing, ensuring that project goals are met.
