Responsibilities

We love that you will…
• Oversee and guide the team in conducting all Front-End process activities especially the casting process, ensuring timely delivery of results to requesters as per agreed timelines.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing casting processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and cycle time reduction. Implement long-term solutions that ensure a safe manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control measures and conduct root cause analysis. Lead the implementation of FMEA to identify and mitigate risks.
• Optimize casting processes by leveraging 4M principles and monitoring OEE, Cpk, and SPC, with a specific focus on Machine and Method. Identify areas for improvement in cost, lead time, FROT, and waste.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into casting processes while maintaining high-quality standards and production efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of casting processes, procedures, changes, and improvements.
• Work closely with various departments (e.g., Production, Design, Quality) to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the manufacturing process.
• Develop and maintain quality control guidance for production staff on new casting processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Evaluate and propose initiatives to reduce operational costs within casting processes while maintaining or improving product quality.

Requirements

• Background in Metallurgical, Material, Industrial Engineering or related
• Proven experience in leading and managing casting teams within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth expertise in casting processes and techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement specific to casting processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
